Smycorp purchased a 25% interest in 108 Vine Avenue with the partners of Govan Brown Construction Management, also long time friends and peers. Govan Brown occupied the space using close to 20,000 square feet as their personal office space. The 45,000 square foot building was purchased for $5.3 million in July 2012 and the partners are in the process of improving the space for close to a further $6 million. Additionally, pre-leasing is underway to lease the remaining 25,000 square feet to retail tenants through a change of use with the city.
